{"id":912577,"date":"2026-06-06T20:48:17","date_gmt":"2026-06-06T17:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/uncategorized-en\/20260606-anakoinosi-pae-paok\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T15:11:40","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T12:11:40","slug":"20260606-anakoinosi-pae-paok","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/en\/news\/20260606-anakoinosi-pae-paok\/","title":{"rendered":"PAOK FC statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The club is consistently and steadily moving forward with the implementation of its commitments presented on <strong>April 28<\/strong>, with the plan to transform <strong>PAOK<\/strong> into a modern <strong>European<\/strong> sports organization, which will be based on a new and flexible administrative structure, with clear and distinct corporate and competitive functions, and with infrastructure that will enhance its dynamics and competitiveness at the highest level.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Restructuring of the squad and football department<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In this context, the following key changes to the club&#8217;s structure and staffing are announced today:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leo Matos<\/strong> takes on the duties of <strong>Sports Director<\/strong>. The former <strong>PAOK<\/strong> defender has significant experience in football administration, having worked for the last three years as <strong>Technical Director<\/strong> at <strong>Vasco da Gama<\/strong>, one of the biggest clubs in <strong>Brazil<\/strong>. He holds a coaching diploma, a Sports Management degree from the <strong>Brazilian Football Federation<\/strong> and <strong>UEFA<\/strong> certification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andr\u00e9 Vieirinha<\/strong> takes over as <strong>Technical Director<\/strong>. <strong>Andr\u00e9,<\/strong> who is taking coaching courses to obtain a <strong>UEFA A license<\/strong>, has performed at a high level as a player and will take an active role in shaping and implementing the team\u2019s competitive strategy and the daily supervision of the squad and football department.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>New Administrative Model<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In the coming period, <strong>PAOK FC<\/strong> will also present in detail the club&#8217;s new administrative model and its staffing.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation and reorganization process is already underway at all levels of the organization\u2019s operation.
