Angelos Anastasiadis spoke to Novasports about the tie against EA Guingamp, the remaining league encounters and the upcoming match against AO Kerkyra this Sunday. Here is what he said:

About PAOK’s European journey this season:

“We did well in Europe, except for the two encounters against EA Guingamp. The last one was the worst, as we were playing at home and we should have won. We are all sad, because we wanted to advance and we needed it as a team. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. But, looking back at this European journey, there is a silver lining: the experience that some young guys earned”.

About the remainder of the league:

“Since our European engagements are over, we have to go after the big aim, the league title. We have three matches ahead before Christmas. We need to win them all, starting with the one against AO Kerkyra, so that our effort so far doesn’t go to waste”.

About the match against AO Kerkyra:

“The coach of AO Kerkyra wants his team to play attacking football. They have recorded several positive results, combining them with attractive football”.
