He starred in the encounter against Panathinaikos, winning the Best Goal and MVP of the matchday awards in the polls conducted by Super League, PSAP and Novasports. Here is what the Bosnian player said after being presented with his awards in the mixed zone of Toumba Stadium.
On his individual awards:
«I am very happy both about the goal and for helping my team. I can’t describe it in words. I have left my injury behind and I am ready to contribute more. My first months in Thessaloniki and PAOK were tough due to my injury, but now I am fine. I would like to thanks the doctors and physiotherapists for their help«.
