Decompression in the rain
It was raining when PAOK left Agrinio, it was raining on Sunday when they gathered at Nea Mesimvria to continue their preparation ahead of the team’s next engagements.
Vladan Ivić and his assistants were waiting for the players in Nea Mesimvria and the session kicked off at 13:00, with the sole purpose of recuperation and decompression after such a demanding encounter on a very heavy pitch.
Those you played against Panetolikos remained in the gym, as the incessant rain didn’t allow them to work outdoors. The remaining players however weren’t spared of the “shower” and did possession games in reduced space as well as passing ball exercises with instructions regarding the new philosophy that Ivić wants to stamp on the team.
Fortunately, despite the heavy pitch in Agrinio, no new names were added on the injury list. Panagiotis Glykos, Gojko Cimirot, Garry Rodrigues, Jairo, Dimitar Berbatov, Dimitris Konstantinidis, Dimitris Chatziisaias and Giannis Skondras continued their recovery programs.
PAOK players have been given Clean Monday off and will return to trainings on Tuesday 15 March at 16:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
