Preparation for Panathinaikos game
Schedule changes don’t affect PAOK who are getting ready for their encounter in Leoforos
Vladan Ivić needs to handle the players’ fatigue, to maintain their competitive rhythm and their morale, as every detail plays its part in the play-off procedure.
The team trained in Toumba on Friday. The session consisted of decompression work for those who played against AEK Athens and drills on ball passing and tactics.
Róbert Mak is back at the disposal of the Serbian coach, as he recovered from the viral infection and trained normally. Μiguel Vítor followed a special program and will have an MRI to evaluate his calf injury.
Eyal Golasa trained apart from his teammates due to hamstring pains. Dimitar Berbatov made it through the whole session and will be joining Ivić’s list shortly ahead of upcoming encounters.
Saturday’s training session will start at 13:30 in Toumba Stadium and then the squad will travel to Athens. They will remain in the capital after the Panathinaikos encounter, as they wait for the rest of play-off fixtures to be officially confirmed.
