Positioning and ball passing
PAOK’s evening training session in Oosterbeek on Thursday was held in low temperatures and winter-like conditions.
The training program set up by Vladan Ivić and his assistants focused on proper positioning and tactics. Those who played for 60 minutes against Steaua on Wednesday followed part of the session and then did recuperation work.
By the end of training, Stefanos Athanasiadis, Diego Biseswar, Facundo Pereyra and Giannis Mystakidis practiced their finishing, while Achilleas Pougouras and Dimitris Chatziisaias worked on ball passing.
Róbert Mak trained with his teammates for the first time. José Ángel Crespo remained in the hotel due to neck pains and Željko Brkić due to a viral infection. Giorgos Tzavellas sustained a knock in the friendly game and didn’t participate in the last part of training.
