Recovery and rest time

The first part of PAOK’s engagements in Europe has been completed and the “Double-Headed Eagle” are continuing their preparations for the Super League and the UEFA Europa League. Until then, however, there is a match-free period that allows players to relax a bit.

26.08.2016

PAOK players returned to Toumba Stadium a few hours after their victory over FC Dinamo Tbilisi. They split into two groups. The first one started recover work at 10:30 and the second group started their session half-an-hour later. Those who didn’t play or featured as substitutes on Thursday, worked normally, with the menu consisting of ball passing drills, position games and technique exercises.

Vladan Ivić was happy to see that there were no serious injuries from that match, but some normal minor scares. After training, the head coach of PAOK conceded a two-day break to his players who will be back to training on Monday 29 August.
