“Recover the points we lost»

Vladan Ivić spoke to Novasports TV about the upcoming encounter against PAS Giannina in Zosimades Ground, the conditions he expects there and how his troops are preparing for the challenge.

21.01.2017

On the encounter against PAS Giannina and how it compares to the recent game against them in Toumba:

«I definitely expect a different game. For starters, the conditions will be different. In Toumba we played on a frozen pitch, there we expect a muddier terrain. But that’s football and we have to adjust. We must recover from the Levadiakos game and then prepare as best as we can, get on the pitch and take back the points we lost at home«.

On whether the team are affected by the postponement of the Larissa game:

«Back-to-back games keep the team’s pacae. But on the other hand, we had a few days to rest and that came in handy. We have many games ahead and we are preparing for them«.

On the pitch of Zosimades Ground and whether PAOK are making special preparations for such encounters:

«At this time of year, only a few teams boast grounds with decent pitches. The Giannina pitch is heavy and has been so for a long time, even when I was a player. However, we can’t do anything gmore than be ready and do everything in our power to recover the points we lost in Toumba Stadium«.
