Focus shift towards the Greek Cup
PAOK resumed their Super League engagements, but didn’t get the desired result. After their worst performance of the season, the “Double-Headed Eagle” dropped two points in Kaftanzoglio and now they have to carry on, concentrating on the Greek Cup.
On Clean Monday, PAOK trained in Nea Mesimvria and their session consisted of possession games in reduced space, ball passing and finishing practice. Those who started the encounter against AEP Iraklis did recuperation work in the pool.
Pedro Henrique sustained a toe knock and withdrew from the session. He did physiotherapy and is expected to return to full training on Tuesday and be at the disposal of Vladan Ivić for upcoming games.
For the first time since suffering his injury, José Alberto Cañas worked alongside his teammates, as a step towards his reintegration procedure. The Spanish midfielder will keep the same pace before returning to full training. Giannis Mystakidis trained normally.
Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start at 12:00 in Nea Mesimvria Sports Centre.
