Return to action with technical drills
The international break gave Vladan Ivić and his players the opportunity for a restart after their heavy schedule of recent weeks. They rested for three days, but their break is now over. The ball is rolling again on Nea Mesimvria’s pitch.
The first training session after the three-day break was of low intensity and served rather as a preparation stage for upcoming days. Most drills focused on the players’ technical skills.
Stelios Malezas trained normally, after following a special program and recovering from the toe strain he suffered against AEK Athens. Aleksandar Prijović, who also did physiotherapy during the break, is working now on his physical condition and muscular strengthening in the gym.
Djalma Campos didn’t rest at all. He was training every day in order to cover for lost ground and get over his sprain.
Friday’s training session is scheduled to start at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
