Work goes on…

After enjoying a two-day break for Easter, the players of PAOK returned to work and are getting ready for the most crucial encounters of the season.

17.04.2017

PAOK have the final matches of the regular season in their sights, as well as the second leg against Panathinaikos that will determine which team will make it to the Greek Cup final.

Monday’s training session was split in three parts. The first part was like an introduction to the work that the coaching staff has prepared for the next days. The second consisted of drills to improve the players’ physical condition. The third part was all about tactics and technical skills.

José Alberto Cañas trained apart from his team-mates, as he suffers of a foot strain. Giannis Mystakidis is also on his own. He is doing physiotherapy on a daily basis, working hard to recover from his knee injury and return to action in the following season.

Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to begin at 18:30 in the installations of Nea Mesimvria.
