Focused on the season finale
After celebrating a historic comeback against Panathinaikos, PAOK are now concentrating on the last encounter of the regular season, before focusing on the Greek Cup final.
Their effort is far from over. After securing their qualification to the final, they need to win the Greek Cup as well. Until then however, they have to negotiate the encounter against AOK Kerkyra for matchday 30 of the Super League.
Vladan Ivić cannot count on the suspended Stefanos Athanasiadis, Yevhen Shakhov, Marin Leovac and Fernando Varela. The latter picked up a bruise of the acromioclavicular ligament in the Greek Cup semi-final, but his condition doesn’t worry the medical staff. Panagiotis Glykos complained of calf muscles pains in the last minutes of the encounter.
Those who started the Panathinaikos game did special recovery work in the gym and the pool. The rest trained normally and their session consisted of passing and tactical drills.
Saturday’s training session is scheduled to start at 18:00 in Toumba Stadium.
