Saturday’s session focused entirely on tactics. After the necessary warm-up, the players engaged in a 10v10 game with goalkeepers, focusing mainly on positioning, deployment and ball passing.

The players then split in two groups taking turns doing drills. While one group would work on their tactics under the supervision of Răzvan Lucescu without defenders, the rest played a 5v5 game with two goalkeepers on a small pitch. The session ended with a training match.

Just before the end of the session, Panagiotis Deligiannidis complained of pains and retired. His condition will be evaluated on Sunday and, depending on his medical test results, he will follow the adequate program. José Ángel Crespo went through training without problems, while Dorian Lévêque, José Alberto Cañas, Giannis Mystakidis and Panagiotis Glykos stayed in the gym and the pool where they continued their recovery programs.

Sunday’s training session is scheduled to start at 19:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
