U17s defeated Lamia and are gearing up for Panathinaikos
PAOK U17s are already prepping for their semi-final against Panathinaikos, after completing their regular-season engagements with a 2-0 victory over Lamia.
PAOK got their lead very early in the encounter, in the 2nd minute, with Vrakas setting up Aventisian for a neat finish. The victory of the “Double-Headed Eagle” was sealed in the 45th minute, Theodoridis earning a spot kick, expertly converted by Vrakas.
PAOK finished 2nd in the standings with a total of 56 points, trailing top-placed Xanthi by two points. Their next challenge in the semi-final against group A leaders Panathinaikos on 7 May in the Final Four of Agrinio. Xanthi and Olympiakos will face each other in the second semi-final.
