Mario Galinovic appointed new goalkeeping coach

PAOK FC announces the hiring of Mario Galinovic in the position of goalkeeping coach. The Croatian has agreed a two-year contract with the club.

30.07.2020

Galinovic was born in Zagreb on November 15 1976 and began his professional career in 1993 with Osijek, where he played until 2002. He moved on to Kamen Ingrad and stayed there for two years, and in the summer of 2004 he signed for Panathinaikos. He remained with the Greens until 2011 and played for another two seasons, spending one campaign at Kavala and another at Kerkyra before deciding to hang up his globes.

In 2015 he took on a role as a coach with the youth academy at Panathinaikos and in May 2016 he was promoted to the first team. From 2017 up until this summer he was a member of the technical team at Sparta Prague.

Galinovic takes over from Giorgos Skiathitis, whom we thank for his work with the club and wish him every success in his future career.
