Recovery and a training match
PAOK continue to be productive, while also managing to keep clean sheets, and this is how the club would like to continue for the rest of the season. The match with Lamia is already consinged to the past, and the team is turning its attention to the next match against Asteras Tripolis.
As things are, the league is almost entering into the final stretch, and PAOK need to be strong and well-prepared in order to achieve their goals. In Monday’s (22.02) training session in Nea Mesimvria, the players were split into two groups. Those who played in the starting XI against Lamia followed a recovery and rehabilitation program in the gym, the swimming pool and including physiotherapy.
The rest were divided into two teams and with the addition of players from the Under-19s, who do not have league games at the moment, they played out a training match.
Christos Tzolis had some treatment due to a blow he received on his right ankle and within the day he will undergo a scan. The x-ray he had yesterday showed that he avoided any bone damage.
Jose Crespo trained on his own and will also undergo a scan in order for the medical staff to re-evaluate his injury.
Finally, Enea Mihaj had a day off from his rehabilitation training program.
On Tuesday (23.02) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
