Stepping up the pace
PAOK are counting down the days to the upcoming derby match against Panathinaikos and the squad are preparing accordingly, putting in the work ahead of what is the final game of the Super League Interwetten regular season.
Thursday’s (11.03) training session saw an increase in the tempo. The players were put through their paces by the coaching team with a high-intensity program focused on fitness conditioning, and some exercises with the ball aimed at working on the transition phases from defence to attack and vice versa, as well as work on tactics.
In the finale the players took part in a five-a-side tournament within limited spaces. The only player still on the injured list is Enea Mihaj who continued his individual rehab training program.
On Friday (12.03), PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
