The international break has offered a breather for the club as well as time for extra work on both competitive and tactical weaknesses.

The first aspect was covered during the previous three days. Bodies have had the chance to rest after a demanding set of consecutive matches, the mind allowed to empty a little, and now it’s time to get back to work.

Players and technical staff returned to Nea Mesimvria without the international playerss, but also with players from PAOK B and the Under-19s.

The program on Thursday (07.10) started with a warm-up, continued with a game of rondo and a possession game, while in the final part of the session, there was a training friendly match played out.

Omar El Kaddouri and Fernando Varela trained normally with the rest of the group. Ingi Ingason took part in the training session for a large part of it, before breaking away to continued working on his individual program, while Jose Crespo and Thomas Murg also did some individual training work. The Spanish defender is expected to start a program of gradual reintegration with the squad from tomorrow.

On Friday (08.10) there will be double training sessions in Nea Mesimvria at 10:30 and 18:00.
