Emphasis on automation
The break for October’s international fixtures offers something that is rare and hard to find during the season: time. The coaching staff have the opportunity to work on various finer details that are perhaps more difficult to deal with during the usual training sessions while preparing for matches.
Saturday’s training (09.10) started with some fitness drills and was followed by work in the field of automation. The players worked with the coaching staff on numerous coordinated movements on the pitch, while in the final part of the session there was also a friendly match.
Ingi Ingason was present for part of the training session and then he withdrew as planned to do some individual work, Jose Crespo continued his gradual reintegration training program, while Thomas Murg also did some individual training on both the pitch and in the gym.
On Sunday (10.10) the Double-headed Eagle squad will have a rest day and will return to training on Monday (11.10) at 18:00.
