On the derby with Olympiacos:

«It’s a normal game like any other with three points at stake. The only difference is that tomorrow, two very good teams from Greece will face each other, aiming to win the game.»

On whether the derby with Olympiacos is coming at the best time of the season for PAOK:

«I do not want to say much about that, I think that this is more your job to do. I look at the big picture, a season that is very full for us. A season that is demanding for both us and Olympiacos, as we are the two teams that play in the European competitions. We have periods when we do not have the necessary energy that is required, however we have to find the balance, I think it is possibly a better time, since we are also a new team, it is a good point.»

On whether it is a disadvantage for PAOK to play in front of an empty stadium:

«It is always a disadvantage when you play without fans. But especially for PAOK it is a disadvantage, for the fact that they give the team incredible energy, especially when the team is doing well.»

On Filipe Soares and what he will bring to the team:

«He is a quality footballer, he is a player who is a box-to-box type player who makes very good runs in the central areas. I think he will give us a lot of energy in our game. However, he is a footballer who at the same time needs some time, both to adapt to the squad and to the ideas we want to have in our game. It is a principle of mine and of the coaching staff to have the players in the best possible condition, and to come on to the pitch to play at the level we want to help the team and to be helped by the team too.»
