Emphasis on tactics
Strong winds in Nea Mesimvria meant the team trained at the Toumba instead on Monday, with the week starting off with some tactics lessons ahead of the big match aghainst Marseille.
The players and the coaching staff devoted another day to the tactical approach for the second-leg Europa Conference League quarter-final tie against Marseille.
After the warm-up, the players performed a series of exercises with an emphasis on attacking build-up play and defensive play, while at the end of the session there was a mini-friendly match played under some specific instructions from the coaches.
The team’s treatment room remains empty for another day with the exception of Giannis Michailidis, who is continuing the first stage of his rehabilitation from a long-term knee injury recovery process.
On Tuesday (12.04) PAOK will train again at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
