On the match with Aris and PAOK’s many absentees:

«It’s a situation I’ve described many times. This is the reality. It’s something that happens to teams that have a lot of games. My first concern is to see how we can manage this and bring those absentee players back in the group in the best condition possible.

When you play a lot of games with a high level of intensity, and when you give 200% in each game, it makes sense that there will be adverse effects. My concern is to see which players we will have at our disposal, so what we are looking at for the upcoming game is how we will manage this situation. Looking at the cup final, let’s see who will be with us to have as strong a group as possible. Of course we do not have the opportunity to train as we want, playing games every three days.»

On what he expects from the game against Aris versus the last time the two clubs played each other:

«The three previous times we faced Aris, it was after a European game and each time the team was very stretched and stressed. One after the game with Slovan Bratislava, one between the games with FC Midtjylland, and one after the game with Marseille. This is the first time that the situation may be slightly equal. When it comes to the Play Offs, teams generally play with a lot of nerves and anixeity. All the games are quite close and defensive, because there is also the fear of defeat and what it can cost.»
