Preparations for Karaiskaki trip get underway
The game in Livadeia now belongs in the past. PAOK threw away another two points in the finale of a match, in a game they completely dominated. But all that has to be consigned to the past and the Double-headed Eagle squad know that hard work is the only way for the team to return to positive results, starting with the match against Olympiacos next Monday (17.10, 20:00).
The preparations for the upcoming Matchday 8 2022-23 Super League derby clash began on Tuesday (11.10) afternoon in Nea Mesimvria. The players who started the match against Levadeiakos followed a recovery and rehabilitation program including work both out on the pitch and in the gym.
The rest of teh group worked on tactics and ball circulation through a series of drills, following the instructions of the technical staff, while in the finale there was the customary mini-friendly kickabout.
Adelino Vieirinha suffered a minor thigh strain and will be out for the next three weeks. The Portuguese received some treatment, as did Brandon Thomas. Douglas Augusto, Konstantinos Koulierakis, and Giannis Michailidis all followed their respective individual training programs out on the practice pitches.
On Wednesday (12.10) PAOK will train again at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
