Focused on the task in hand

The tempo of training in Nea Mesimvria is picking up and the PAOK squad’s preparations are reaching their peak ahead of the big derby against Olympiacos at “Georgios Karaiskakis” Stadium on Sunday (17.10, 20:30).

14.10.2022

Friday’s (14.10) training session at the Double-headed Eagle’s training base started with the customary warm-up. Then the players were divided into two teams and played out a tactical game that involved build-up and automation on the one hand, and pressing on the other. In the final part of the session, there was also a more freestyle mini-friendly, which was played within limited spaces, at a high intensity.

Brandon Thomas did an individual program on the pitch, Giannis Michailidis did part of the training session with the team and then did some work on his own, while Andre Vieirinha did some physiotherapy and a program in the swimming pool.

On Saturday (15.10) PAOK will be back in for training at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
