It was a great victory for Razvan Lucescu’s team over Olympiacos in Piraeus. The Double-headed Eagle players showed concentration, faith in the plan and endless passion to come away with a great result which boosted their comfidence in view of the difficult series of games ahead.

Lefteris Lyratzis is fast becoming one of the team’s leaders. In a match which placed a lot of demands on him, the right-back produced a performance of the highest order in both defense and attack, also providing the assist for Narey to make the final score 2-1 to PAOK.

Apart from the derby on the pitch, there was also a derby in the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match award, with Lyratzis and Narey battling it out until the final few votes, with «Lyra» prevailing in the end by a few votes.
