Back to… business
The “holidays” are over. The Double-headed Eagle squad returned to training on Thursday afternoon (24.11) and began their preparations for the second part of the season.
After a 10-day spell in inactivity, New Mesimvria has suddenly come to life once more. The only absentees are the internationals, Kurtic, Ingason, Danntas, Konstantelias, Panagiotou, Koulierakis and Balomenos, who will join in the next few days, and of course Andrija Zivkovic, who is in Qatar with the Serbian national team for the World Cup.
The first day back at work included a reintegration program, with some offensive tactics drills and a double-header match.
Marios Tsaousis and Khaled Narey did some readiness tests and a high-intensity individual session each, while Lefteris Lyratzis worked individually out on the training pitches. Finally, Nelson Oliveira did not train due to a virus.
On Friday (25.11) there is a double training day scheduled, with sessions at 10:00 in the morning and then again at 18:00 in the afternoon in Nea Mesimvria.
