The evening started with Stelios Pozoglou blowing the candles for his 19th birthday, as his teammates and the PAOK staff surprised him with a cake. Later he was one of the two players who got lucky and won the coins in the New Year’s cake. The other player was Fanis Tzandaris. PAOK president Iakovos Angelidis cut the New Year’s cake and then wished the players a good year with health and urged them to inspire PAOK fans with their attitude and sporting philosophy, as people are going through financial hardship due to the crisis and are in need of support.
