Relentless pressing
Igor Tudor’s training sessions seldom focus on just one aspect of the game. However Monday’s workout at Toumba Stadium was all about pressing.
The whole session focused in variations of the same drill, quickly recuperating the ball after collective and coordinated pressing and keeping on to it under pressure.
The session concluded with a training match, applying the same rules of pressing.
Stelios Kitsiou didn’t complain of pains in the iliopsoas muscle anymore and trained at a higher pace. He will attempt to join normal training on Tuesday.
Stefanos Athanasiadis and Charis Charisis followed their own recuperation program, along with Stelios Pozoglou. PAOK will hold their last training on Greek soil on Tuesday, before their trip to Slovakia.
