After spending a full season under the guidance of Vladan Ivić at PAOK U20s and featuring for Greece U19s in the European Championship finals, the talented central defender penned his first professional contract for the “Double-Headed Eagle” and is approaching the new season determined to work and improve further.

Tselepidis and his agent came to PAOK FC offices to finalise the deal and had the opportunity to talk to Frank Arnesen. The club’s Sports Director presented to them his plan about the youngsters of the “Double-Headed Eagle”.

«It’s an honour to be offered my first professional contract by PAOK. I am very happy and had been waiting for a long time for it. I want to repay the trust of the people who believe in me. Allow me to mention especially Vladan Ivić who believed in me from the start and contributed a lot to my progress and everyone who helped me reach this moment in my career«.

What is the plan for the new season?

«My aim is to play as much as possible for the U20s until December and try to improve on my weaknesses through team and individual trainings. Afterwards, the senior team staff will assess whether I can join the senior team«.

The fans of the “Double-Headed Eagle” are eager to see young guys move up the ranks and play for PAOK. What is your message to them?

«I will work as hard as I can, in order to be ready 100% and please the fans of PAOK when given the opportunity to play in front of them. I want to give it my best for them«.
