Igor Tudor spoke on Novasports TV ahead of the encounter against Asteras in Tripolis, corresponding to matchday 9 of the Super League. He made special reference to the latest injury spree, their rivals’ dynamics and what is needed in order to win.
Here is what the Croatian tactician of PAOK said:
On preparations for the Asteras game and the players sidelined with injury:
«We have only a few days to prepare and various problems to face. We know that Berbatov and Kace are sidelined, but we have several good players on our roster. We will be ready to face Asteras, who have a very good team«.
On Cimirot, Konstantinidis and Kitsiou:
«They have started training with the team, but I don’t believe they will be able to help on Sunday, as they need time to get fit again. I am very happy however that they are back training with us«.
On Asteras and what is expected of PAOK in order to win:
«Asteras have a very good team that has never been an easy opponent for PAOK. We will concentrate on our own game, focus on our team and what we must do. We are going to Tripolis determined to put on a good display and fight to win«.
