«I hope to play soon»
Terry Antonis spoke to Novasports TV about his first experiences at Thessaloniki, about PAOK and his physical condition. Here is what the Greek-Australian player said:
On his condition and on the mystery surrounding him, as it’s his first time in Europe:
«I am ready and in good shape right now. It’s my first time in Europe and very excited about it. This is an outstanding club with high-level players. It’s a huge experience for me and hopefully I will play soon«.
On making the decision to come to Greece, what led him here and his aspirations:
«Australia is very different to Greece. I considered it imperative to come to Europe in order to improve as a player. When given the opportunity to sign for PAOK, I didn’t give it a second thought. They are a great club and I believe they will help me and I will contribute to them as well«.
On the welcome he received by PAOK:
«It was a great welcome. All members of the team, the administration and the employees of the club were very warm towards me and I feel very at ease here«.
On his team and the league:
«We have a very good team with exceptional players, many of them internationals. Judging from the league matches I have watched, it’s a difficult competition with good teams«.
On how he would describe himself:
«I don’t want to answer that. I will present my credentials on the pitch«.
