New faces at PAOK for the Volos match
The victory at Chania provided Igor Tudor with the luxury to rest most of his players for the Olympiacos Volos’ game, amidst a heavy schedule.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” will face Olympiacos Volos on Thursday with players belonging mainly to PAOK U20s, who will get their first opportunity to wear the senior’s black-and-white shirt.
The young PAOK players trained on Wednesday at Nea Mesimvria and will travel to Volos on Thursday. As expected, the session consisted of tactical work, with Igor Tudor explaining to newcomers what he expects of them on the pitch.
After the training session, the coach of the “Double-Headed Eagle” announced his squad for the match against Olympiacos Volos:
Melissas, Siampanis, Deligiannidis, Korovesis, Skondras, Antonis, Tselepidis, Dimitriadis, Dimitriou, Kakko, Ktistopoulos, Panagiotidis, Patralis, K.Chatzidimpas, V.Chatzidimpas, Syrakos, Topalidis, Kushta.
Ricardo Costa, Charis Charisis, Garry Rodrigues, Stelios Kitsiou, Jairo, Eyal Golasa and Miguel Vítor continued their recovery programs. The players who didn’t make the squad for the Greek Cup match, worked on their physical condition and are summoned again at noon on Thursday at Nova Sports Centre of PAOK at Nea Mesimvria.
