Tactics and ball circulation
PAOK kicked off preparations for their Sunday game against PAS Giannina, that marks the beginning of a series of back-to-back encounters.
In Thursdays’ training session, Igor Tudor focused his work on aspects of PAOK’s game that didn’t go as planned in the Greek Cup game against AEL Kalloni.
The session lasted for almost two hours and the Croatian tactician insisted on ball circulation and attacking deployment from the axis and the flanks. PAOK players sealed their training with physical condition drills and a training match in reduced space.
Those who started the game at Mytilini did recuperation work with jogging and gym exercises. Panagiotis Glykos followed part of the goalkeepers’ training and then continued his recovery program. Ricardo Costa did ball drills and Garry Rodrigues did physical condition work.
Friday’s training session is scheduled to begin at noon, in Nea Mesimvria.
