Counting the available players
PAOK have left their Greek Cup encounter behind them, as their home match against Iraklis for the league is just around the corner.
PAOK have a league match on Sunday and it’s of the utmost importance to tell the available from the injured players. It’s highly probable that Stefanos Athanasiadis won’t be able to make it in time. He was feeling better on Friday, but he is still complaining of hamstring pains. He will undergo further tests on Saturday to determine if he has a muscular injury.
On the contrary, Marin Leovac and Charis Charisis will be at the disposal of Igor Tudor, even if they can’t make it through 90 minutes yet. They trained normally on Friday, alongside those who didn’t play against Panionios.
Those who featured in the Greek Cup match did recuperation work, massage and hydrotherapy. Giannis Mystakidis trained apart from the rest, along with Dimitris Konstantinidis, Jairo, Garry Rodrigues (he was granted a leave of absence until Sunday in order to travel to the Netherlands for a personal issue), Panagiotis Glykos and Nikos Korovesis.
Saturday’s training session is scheduled to begin at noon in Toumba Stadium.
