Football at Toumba

Friday’s training session in Toumba Stadium was all about football, as the players prepare for their away encounter against Platanias on the last matchday of Super League’s regular season.

15.04.2016

After the usual warm-up, players focused on defensive and attacking tactics adjusted to their rivals’ style of play with ball drills, passing and finishing practice.

Giannis Skondras didn’t train as he complained of pains in the pubic symphysis and it was deemed preferable not to aggravate his condition ahead of the play-offs. He will do personalized work in the following days in order to be ready for PAOK’s next engagements.

Jairo and Giannis Mystakidis continued their recovery programs with ball drills, while Dimitar Berbatov did physiotherapy.

Saturday’s training will start in Toumba at 13:30 and then the squad will go to “Makedonia” Airport to travel to Chania.
