U20s seal their season with AEK win
A long journey of 30 matches with many highlights, good and bad moments, drew to a close. PAOK U20s ended their season in the Super League with a victory over AEK Athens in Nea Mesimvria.
The match served as a look into the future of PAOK U20s. Vasilis Mittas invited in the squad several U17 champions who are expected to feature for the U20s next season. PAOK started strongly and looked for a quick goal. Kushta gave them the lead after a double effort. In the 14th minute Patralis scored PAOK’s second, but the goal was wrongly disallowed by the referee for handfoul. In the last 20 minutes, the “yellow and blacks” charged forward in search of the equalizer. In the 71st minute, Tselepidis was sent off after conceding a penalty, but Soilemezoglou saved the spot kick to safeguard PAOK’s victory.
