Introducing tactics
Setting the proper foundations for the new season isn’t just about physical condition and muscular strengthening. Because, no matter how fit one is, if they don’t know what they are doing on the pitch, they won’t achieve their goals.
Saturday’s evening session was all about tactics. On the third day of preseason, Vladan Ivić started conveying the elements that he wants to see in his team.
After the usual warm-up, PAOK players engaged in ball circulation games and then they practiced their transition game, from defence to attack and vice versa, in a 10v10 game.
On Sunday morning, the menu will change again. Training will focus on muscular strengthening with gym drills and jogging. Players will train in two groups. They will have the evening free.
