«Looking ahead to the next game»
On his PAOK debut, he scored an astonishing and highly important goal that puts the “Double-Headed Eagle” in the driver’s seat ahead of the second-leg tie against AFC Ajax in Toumba for a place in the UEFA Champions League play-offs. Here is what Djalma Campos said after the final whistle in Amsterdam Arena.
On the goal he scored:
«It was a beautiful goal, but it wouldn’t have been possible without a good pass. The team worked very well. We managed a good game and a solid result. We didn’t get the victory we were hoping for, but we are looking ahead to the Toumba match«.
On the second leg:
«We are in for a big fight in Toumba and we need to work hard. Now we will rest and look ahead at the next game. I want to score in Toumba of course and it would be ideal to achieve that in the second leg. It’s more important however for the team to win and to qualify to the next round«.
On his individual performance:
«I am happy for what I achieved, I helped the team. It’s a good result for us and we continue«.
