Focus on the opening match
The rest are focusing on the objective, but Vladan Ivić and his assistants prefer to focus on the way it will be achieved, on everyday work. The match against Panetolikos is the first step.
Everybody at PAOK is thinking only about the opening encounter. About the first match in Toumba and how they will kick off the season on the right foot, given that they start with a -3 point deduction. All the rest is secondary at this point.
Friday’s training session was all about Sunday’s match and its tactical approach. PAOK coach had all his players in his disposal, since Giorgos Tzavellas trained normally following Thursday’s decompression session. Only Marin Leovac is sidelined for the match against Panetolikos, as he has a two-match suspension to serve.
PAOK will train on Saturday at 18:00 in Toumba and then the players will spend the night in Μakedonia Palace.
