PAOK kicked off the Super League on a winning note, defeating Panetolikos 2-1 in Toumba Stadium. The “Double-Headed Eagle” were very good, took the lead almost immediately and satisfied their fans. They could have won with a wider margin as they wasted many opportunities and Stefanos Athanasiadis and Facundo Pereyra were denied by the woodwork.
