It was a very important encounter for me and my morale. The work achieved in Cyprus last season helped me a lot. It is very important for a young player to get playing minutes in a strong side. I am back, I felt well during preseason, I included new elements in my game and I am glad I was able to display them today. I was waiting for my chance and did my best.

The president and the coach kept me on board and I want to do the best to prove them right. We have a big roster and everyone will get their chance. We work hard and managed a solid start to our season. I believe I will be more active in the future and ready to play when needed.

I am not stressed to have so many fast players by my side –exactly the opposite. I get more crosses like that or I can pass the ball to my teammates.

It’s still early to speak about the end of the season. PAOK aim high, as do the rest of big clubs. We will continue our hard work. We want to be good every weekend. We have a full roster, and that is very important for a big club.

We could finish off some matches easily, but not all of them are the same. We have realized that and we are working on it. It’s only our second league encounter. We will detect our errors and try to mend them. Today we earned a huge three-pointer in a ground where we had negative results in the past.

We are trying many formations in trainings and our coach is taking everything under consideration. We have a very good team and we all blend well. Klaus is very helpful and I am trying to learn from him all the time. Many teams will come to Toumba to defend in numbers and, if needed and the coach deems it necessary, I will play alongside Athanasiadis«.
