Training before Toumba gates get locked
PAOK suffered a setback on Sunday, when the ball just wouldn’t go in, despite their efforts. Xanthi managed to escape from Toumba with the draw point. But all that doesn’t change the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” schedule at all.
Vladan Ivić and his players started preparing on Monday for Thursday’s encounter against FC Slovan Liberec.
The session was held in Toumba Stadium and focused on ball passing, pace, strength, tactics with some patches of work on physical condition. The players who started against Xanthi followed a recuperation session. PAOK head coach has no injuries to worry about.
After Monday’s training session, Toumba Stadium closed until the end of the upcoming international break, for grass pitch maintenance and improvement work.
