U20s kick off their Youth League adventure
This generation of PAOK Academy is experienced in taking on the toughest rivals in international tournaments. However now they are faced with their first official European engagement. PAOK U20s make their debut in UEFA Youth League Domestic Champions path route.
The journey of the “Double-Headed Eagle” begins on Wednesday 28 September in Hungary, against domestic champion Puskás Akadémia Felcsút. PAOK players left on Tuesday morning for Felcsút, where they will play their first-leg encounter on the following day (kick-off at 18:00, local time) in Pancho Arena. The second leg is scheduled to kick off in Kaftanzoglio Stadium on 19 October, at 18:00.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” will hold their training session in Pancho Arena on Tuesday evening. Pablo García has all players at his disposal, except for Giorgos Tzovaras, who suffered an injury during the league encounter against Xanthi.
