In the list of season activities that players would rather avoid, top spot would definitely be taken by preseason main training. The official photo shoot would definitely be the favourite for second place in this list.
All players are usually bored by this procedure, but they still make it a point to have their hair cut or their beard trimmed in order to appear good in the photos…
This procedure can also be a source of genuine fun. There will always be at least one player who will step behind the photographer and make silly grimaces to the one posing, another will pull his shorts high up or start swearing, others will try their version of “Cristiano Ronaldo celebration”, while there are also those who will be very serious when saying: “Don’t point that camera at me!”
