In the first months of his tenure, Greece national team coach Michael Skibbe has proved that there won’t be any surprises in his calls. This pattern won’t change for the last two encounters of 2016.

The German coach included Panagiotis Glykos, Giorgos Tzavellas and Alexandros Tziolis in his list for the friendly encounter against Belarus (09 November, 21:15) and the clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina (13 November, 21:45) for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Both matches will be held in “Georgios Karaiskakis” Stadium.

Calls for the youngsters

Greece U21 have a tough friendly encounter against Cyprus to negotiate in Larnaka (11 November, 14:30). Antonis Nikopolidis called Efthymis Koulouris, while Panagiotis Deligiannidis also returns to the group after quite some time.

Greece U19s travel to Wales for the the 2018 European Championship U19 qualifying round, to be held from 8 to 16 November. Μarios Siampanis and Antonis Stathopoulos have been included in the group.

Cypriot winger of PAOK U20, Νikolas Mattheou, will join his country’s U19 side for an international friendly tournament in Montenegro.

His fine performances for the “Double-Headed Eagle” earned Marin Leovac a place in Croatia’s national team coached by Ante Čačić. The “Vatreni” are preparing for their qualifying encounter against Iceland at home (12 November) and the friendly versus Northern Ireland (away at 15 November). The Croatian full-back returns to his national side after 13 months of absence.

Yevhen Shakhov has been called by Andriy Shevchenko for Ukraine’s home qualifying encounter against Finland (12 November, 21:45) and the friendly game against Serbia (15 November). Gojko Cimirot will face Greece in Karaiskakis on Sunday 13 November (21:45), while Garry Rodrigues and Fernando Varela have been included in Cape Verde squad for their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso (12 November).
