Friendly test in Serres
As the Super League has yet to resume, PAOK will play a friendly match against Panserraikos on Saturday, in order to keep their competitive rhythm ahead of the ACF Fiorentina encounter. This friendly game will also allow Vladan Ivić to check out his players’s level of readiness.
PAOK will head to Serres on Saturday, to face local Panserraikos for a game of training nature (kick-off at 15:00) ahead of their UEFA Europa League engagement in Florence.
Panagiotis Glykos won’t participate in the encounter for decompression reasons. Μarin Leovac and Stefanos Athanasiadis won’t play either. The former suffered a foot injury during his international duty with Croatia and is following a special recovery program. As for PAOK skipper, he is complaining of pains in his right knee’s soft tissue and will undergo a special therapy with enzyme injections that will sideline him for the next two days.
Friday’s training session focused on attack and finishing, through a series of attacking drills. The players are summoned on Saturday morning in Toumba Stadium and will board their bus to Serres from there.
