Preparing for Thursday’s final
The derby against Panathinaikos is over and, despite not getting the desired result, PAOK players must shift their focus on the challenge ahead. And it’s a huge one!
PAOK face FC Slovan Liberec on Thursday (08.12) and need to win on their quest for a spot in the last “32” stage of the UEFA Europa League. Vladan Ivić will have Panagiotis Glykos back at his disposal, as the Greece international goalkeeper returned to normal training.
Μarin Leovac, who was substituted off in Leoforos due to groin pains, had an ultrasound on Monday and it came out clear. He has already started physiotherapy in order to make it in time for the Slovan Liberec game.
Facundo Pereyra followed part of training and continued a special reintegration program, while José Alberto Cañas and José Ángel Crespo -both nursing minor knocks sustained during Sunday’s match- did physiotherapy and recuperation work along with those who started the encounter against Panathinaikos.
