«Tough game, we will be prepared»
Everything that Stelios Kitsiou said to Novasports TV ahead of the upcoming encounter against AOK Kerkyra, corresponding to Super League matchday 15.
On getting playing time:
«It’s important to play as much as possible. That is why we work in trainings and that is what I am doing. Competing with an outstanding teammate for a position in the regular line-up is improving me. And it’s also beneficial for the team«.
On the Elefsina game and the fact that PAOK scored seven goals in the second half:
«It’s a bit weird, but it can happen in football. Several players got to score and that will be confidence-boosting ahead of the remaining season«.
On their winning streak being a sign that perhaps the crisis is over:
«We have left everything behind. For a while we weren’t doing well and that became obvious on the pitch, but that is in the past. Lately, the team perform well and we have recovered our winning ways«.
On their aim to win the Greek Cup:
«It’s one of the season’s ambitions. We all want to win the Greek Cup. It’s high time we won this title«.
On the upcoming encounter against AOK Kerkyra:
«We have already analyzed our rival with the coaching staff. I believe it will be a tough encounter, but we are prepared to win it«.
On 2016:
«I have mixed feelings about this year. I wish health to everyone in the team and to the whole world and I hope that 2017 will bring us a title«.
