«We expect a tough match»
Vladan Ivić spoke to Novasports TV ahead of PAOK’s last encounter for 2016. Here is what he said about AOK Kerkyra, Greek Cup qualification and upcoming transfers.
On the encounter against Panelefsiniakos:
«We topped our group and qualified, as we expected right from the start. We scored many goals in Elefsina and that is good. We gave playing time to guys who hadn’t featured much in previous games and the overall impression is positive«.
On the upcoming match against AOK Kerkyra:
«I have watched the team and I know their potential. In my opinion, they deserve to be higher in the standings. They are a fine, organized team, with good, strong and fast players especially in their attack. They are disciplined in their game and we expect a tough match«.
On 2016:
«This will be our last match of the year and then we will draw our conclusions for our journey in the last 4-5 months«.
On the winter transfer window:
«It’s been 2-3 months that we began working on transfers. We know what kind of players we want, we have advanced. Come 1st January, when the winter transfer window opens officially, we will move quickly and acquire players that meet our needs«.
