Training in Veltins-Arena
After three-and-a-half years, the “Double-Headed Eagle” returned to the home ground of FC Schalke 04. On Tuesday afternoon, Vladan Ivić and his troops visited the match venue to complete their preparation for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League last “32” tie against the German side.
The session lasted for one hour and was held in Veltins-Arena with the retractable roof closed due to weather conditions. In the first part of training, players engaged in reduced-space games and finishing drills following combinations. The session concluded with a training match in half pitch.
